Using InstaOn (QR Code)This is the recommended method for quick remote access without complex router configuration.
  1. Open the App: Launch gCMOB or iCMOB on your smartphone.
  2. Access Device Manager: Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left and select Device Manager
  3. Add Device: Tap the "+" icon in the top-right corner and select Wired Device.
  4. Select Connection Type: Choose InstaOn.
  5. Scan QR Code: Tap the QR code icon next to the "SN" (Serial Number) field. Scan the QR code found on your NVR’s physical label or under the Network > InstaOn menu on your NVR monitor.
  6. Enter Credentials:
    • Name: Give your NVR a nickname (e.g., "Home").
    • Username: Default is usually admin.
    • Password: Enter the password you set for the NVR.
  7. Start Live Preview: Tap Start Live Preview at the bottom to save and view your cameras.
