How to Set Up Titan Email MX and TXT Records on GoDaddy
Last Updated a year ago
To start receiving emails on your Titan Email account, you’ll need to configure MX and TXT records in your GoDaddy domain DNS settings.
Step-by-Step Setup:
1. Login to GoDaddy
- Visit: https://www.godaddy.com
- Go to My Products > Domains
- Find your domain and click DNS to manage DNS records.
2. Delete Existing MX Records
- Look for any existing MX records (example: related to GoDaddy, Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
- Delete all of them before adding the new Titan records.
3. Add Titan MX Records
Type | Name | Priority | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
MX | @ | 10 | mx1.titan.email |
MX | @ | 20 | mx2.titan.email |
Important: Ensure the “Name” is @ and no typos in the server names.
4. Add Titan TXT Record (SPF)
Type | Name | Value |
|---|---|---|
TXT | @ | v=spf1 include:spf.titan.email ~all |
This helps email servers verify that Titan is authorized to send emails for your domain.
5. Save the Changes
- Click Save All Changes (or equivalent button on GoDaddy).
- DNS changes usually take 15–30 minutes, but can take up to 24 hours to fully update.
Final Check
- Log in to your Titan Email.
- Send a test email to verify it’s working.
- Optionally, verify your domain in the Titan control panel to complete setup.
