1. Acceptance of Terms
By initiating a trade-in or upgrade transaction with The Good Men Enterprise (including NeoStore, TechPlug, or any affiliated brand), the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full. These terms apply regardless of whether the device is exchanged in-store, collected via courier, or processed online.
Submitting a device for trade-in constitutes full and binding consent to the inspection process, valuation criteria, payment timelines, and limitations listed herein.
2. Eligibility Criteria
- We only accept original, unmodified, and unlocked Apple devices for trade-in.
- Devices must not be reported as stolen, lost, or blacklisted in any global registry.
- Devices under ongoing finance, EMI default, or pending ownership disputes will be rejected.
- Devices with active iCloud, MDM, or activation locks will not be processed under any circumstance.
3. Inspection Requirement
- All trade-in devices are subject to mandatory physical and software inspection, which may include hardware diagnostics, serial number verification, and authenticity checks.
- Devices sent via courier or dropped off without inspection appointment may be delayed, declined, or returned at customer’s cost.
- Cosmetic issues (scratches, dents, screen discoloration, etc.) and functional issues (battery health, Face ID failure, etc.) will affect the final value.
4. Indicative Valuation Only
- Any trade-in value shared via phone, email, or message is purely indicative and not final.
- Final quote is provided only after full inspection and is non-negotiable.
- If the customer chooses not to proceed after valuation, the device will be returned as-is, and a nominal handling charge may apply.
5. Data Responsibility
- Customers are solely responsible for backing up and wiping their data before trade-in.
- All devices must be logged out from iCloud and “Find My iPhone” before handover.
- We will not inspect or verify data erasure, and are not responsible for any personal information left on the device.
- We do not provide post-handover data recovery or access assistance for traded-in devices.
6. Right to Refuse
We reserve the unconditional right to:
- Reject any device that is fake, tampered, blacklisted, water-damaged, or fails our validation.
- Cancel the trade-in process at any stage if the customer fails to cooperate or violates any clause.
- Decline trade-in without disclosing internal assessment criteria.
7. Payment & Credit Adjustment Timelines
- Trade-in payments or adjustments toward new product purchases will be made only after full inspection and approval.
- Payments are usually processed within 3 to 5 working days after confirmation.
- Any courier/delivery delays are not our responsibility.
- Once payment is initiated, it cannot be reversed or modified.
8. No Liability Disclaimer
- The Good Men Enterprise takes no responsibility for any loss, damage, or legal claim arising from the ownership history, financial liability, or data content of the device submitted.
- We do not verify legal ownership documents or purchase bills unless explicitly requested.
- By submitting a device, you waive all future claims, rights, or disputes relating to it.
- Devices once traded in will not be returned under any condition after payout or new product handover.
9. Abandonment & Forfeiture
- Devices left with us for more than 30 days without approval will be considered abandoned.
- Such devices may be recycled, disposed of, or scrapped without notice or compensation.
10. Disputes and Jurisdiction
- Any disagreements, payment disputes, or complaints must be raised within 48 hours of transaction completion.
- All disputes will be governed under the laws of India and shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
- No external arbitration, mediation, or review will be entertained without written consent.
