Basic Monthly Maintenance Checklist for Office Computers

What to Do (Monthly):
- Restart All Systems
- Sounds basic, but a full reboot clears memory leaks and refreshes performance.
- Update Windows & Software
- Go to Settings → Windows Update
- Also update browsers, antivirus, and critical apps.
- Disk Cleanup
- Press Win + R, type cleanmgr, select C: drive
- Clean temp files, recycle bin, and old updates.
- Scan for Malware
- Run a full antivirus scan using Windows Defender or any installed antivirus tool.
- Check Storage Space
- Right-click C: drive → Properties
- Ensure at least 15–20% free space for smooth performance.
- Remove Unused Programs
- Go to Control Panel → Programs & Features, uninstall what you don’t need.
